Basic concepts

ProF provides feedback on the results of the interuniversity Progress Test in Medicine (iPGT). This feedback is depicted in momentaneous and longitudinal graphs. Momentaneous feedback gives insight into the strengths and weaknesses in each subdomain at a certain time (the most recent progress test) and longitudinal feedback gives insight into the development of overall knowledge and knowledge on different subdomains.

Graphs depict results for nominal measurement moments. In addition, they give insight into the occurrence of missing data.

In ProF, a cumulated score can be calculated to give a better indication of the development of knowledge. Moreover, based on previous results, a prognosis for next measurement moments is calculated.

By using reference groups, the knowledge level of a student can be compared to the level of his or her peers. To this end, scores in a reference group are presented as percentiles.
