Prognosis
It is not only relevant to know how knowledge has developed up to a certain point, but also how it is expected to develop in the future if a student does not change his or her study behaviour. ProF supplies a prognosis for one or two future measurement moments for each series of scores. The chart shows the prognosis (with a 95% confidence interval) of future scores in a series. The prediction is based on a straight line of best fit estimated on the basis of the actual scores in the series, with the confidence interval indicating the margins of the prediction.
